Microblading AfterCare

Your post-care is very important to the overall healing process, appearance and longevity of your new brows.

DAY 1:

  • Pat brows with gauze for the 1st hour

  • Wash after 4 hours with aftercare soap and apply aftercare balm. (Only use a rice grain amount split between both brows; you do NOT want to over saturate your brows with the balm.)

DAY 2:

  • Wash brows morning and night with aftercare soap and apply aftercare balm after each wash. (keep in mind to not over saturate brows.)

  • Keep brows dry between washing.

This is your initial procedure; you will need to touch up your brows in 6 weeks. In some cases, a third touch up is needed especially with oily skin or skin that bleeds easily.

The following MUST BE AVOIDED during all 7 days post microblading procedure:

  • Increased sweating

  • Practicing sports

  • Swimming

  • Hot sauna, hot tub or jacuzzi

  • Sun or salon tanning

  • UV/UVA or chemicals as they have been known to cause a shift in colors and cause premature fading

  • Any laser or chemical treatments or peelings and/or creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic Acid on the face

  • Picking, peeling or scratching of the micro-pigmented area in order to avoid scarring of the area or removal of pigment

  • Performing tasks related to heavy household cleaning such as garbage or basement cleaning where there are a lot of airborne debris

  • Driving in open air vehicles such as, but not limited to, convertibles, boats, bicycles or motorcycles
